Greater Los Angeles · Performance training

If it doesn’t show up on game day, it doesn’t count.

Basketball and flag football — skill work plus the engine underneath. Sessions at rec centers and gyms across the Southland, coached like it matters on Friday.

What we train

Two sports. One standard.

Basketball and flag football training across Greater Los Angeles — 1-on-1 and small-group sessions at rec centers and gyms from the South Bay to the Valley.

Most “athletic training” is a workout with a sport in the caption. We train the thing that shows up when someone is on you, when you’re tired, when the possession actually matters.

Court

Basketball

Footwork, finishing, shooting, and reads — then we layer defenders, fatigue, and a clock so the move still exists when it matters.

Field

Flag football

Space, hands, and pursuit. Flag is skill-speed, not pads. We train it that way — routes that create grass, flags that come off.

Engine

Athletic development

The stuff both sports steal from: acceleration, change of direction, power, and a body that doesn’t fold in the third quarter. Collegiate standard. Rec-center setting.

How it runs

Four moves. Then we work.

01

Screen

How you move. How you play. What eight weeks should actually change. Honest — not a sales pitch in sneakers.

02

Plan

1-on-1 or small group. Skill plus engine. You’ll know the point of the session before we start.

03

Train

High intent. Live looks. Rest when the sport rests, not when the playlist changes.

04

Adjust

You leave knowing what got better. Next session is built off that, not off a template I recycle.

The setup

Neighborhood gyms. Real coaching.

I don’t own a shiny facility, and I’m not pretending to. Southland Fitness runs in community centers and gyms around Greater L.A. on purpose — that’s where athletes already are, and that’s rent I can put into coaching instead of a front desk.

If your rec center has a court or a field, tell me. I’ll ask about the space. That’s the business.

Greater L.A.

The Southland is the gym.

Don’t see your neighborhood? Ask anyway. If I can rent the space, we go.

South Bay

Courts and fields around the South Bay. Tell me your rec center.

Long Beach / Harbor

Long Beach and the Harbor area. If a gym has open time, we can run there.

Central & South L.A.

Neighborhood rec centers in the middle of the city. Same standard, closer to home.

Eastside / SGV

The Eastside and the San Gabriel Valley. Put your area on the form.

Gateway Cities

The cities between L.A. and Orange County. Name the park — I’ll ask about the space.

The Valley

Courts and fields across the Valley. If I can rent it, we go.

Before you book

Straight answers.

Sessions run at community centers and gyms around Greater L.A. I’ll confirm the court or field when we book. If your rec center has space, tell me — renting it is the plan, not a backup.

Middle school through adults. If your kid is younger than that, still reach out. I’ll be honest about whether the work is a fit.

Both. Groups stay small so it doesn’t turn into a crowd with cones.

Depends on 1-on-1 vs. small group and how often you train. I’ll send a clear number after I know that — no contracts designed to trap you.

Court or field shoes, water, a ball if you have one. Flags if we’re on the field. Come ready to work. I’ll handle the plan.

That’s the idea. If I can rent the space, we run there. Put your area on the form.

Next

Get on the schedule.

First session is a movement and skill screen. You leave with a clear picture of what eight weeks should change — and a time to start.
